Ready to Launch Research, a boutique market research consultancy based in Los Angeles, California, the brainchild of Jenny Karubian, a cultural anthropologist immersed in all things qualitative research. Founded in 2014 Jenny and her team of academically trained anthropologists, healthcare specialists and technologists, aspire to tackle research topics spanning from a variety of industries filling the gap of a lack of actionable insights in the fast paced decision-making business world.

Originally trained as a cultural anthropologist, Jenny specializes in all things qualitative including focus groups, individual interviews, online communities (MROC), discussion boards and ethnography.

Jenny Karubian has conducted research in various industries and institution types including Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, start-ups, and educational institutions.

Ellyn is a qualitative research and social listening expert who has worked in pharmaceutical market research for over 14 years, bringing deep and actionable insights to multiple brands. As an Ivy-trained medical anthropologist and sociolinguist, Ellyn brings an unique and desirable skill-set to every project.

A master storyteller, she speaks right to client strategy with powerful, succinct reports full of actionable recommendations.

Ellyn can guide you through the IRB process and peer-reviewed publication from writing initial IRB proposals, to selecting the right journal, to final publication.

Her work, which focuses on the nexus of culture, language, and medical decision making, can be found in high-impact journals such as JGIM and Cancer.

Her expertise lies in social listening, IDIs, TDIs/Web-enabled IDIs, in-home and in-office ethnography, cognitive anthropology methodology (qualitative and quantitative), content analysis, discourse analysis, narrative analysis, hermeneutics, conjoint analysis design, cognitive interviewing, phenomenology and focus group methodology.

Trained at RIVA, strong grounding in qualitative research comes from significant experience gained working with P&G’s Corporate New Ventures Team, as Brand Manager for Airheads Candy with Van Melle USA, as well as years spent at advertising agencies.

Jeanette lives in Cincinnati and plays tennis competitively.
